What shaped my perspective
My academic background combines political science, international relations, and international political economy, with a focus on security and global affairs. I earned my bachelor’s degree from the University of Tampa and my master’s from the University of Chicago, where I developed a multidisciplinary approach to analyzing complex challenges, evaluating evidence, and identifying patterns. I've since applied that foundation to data analytics, machine learning, and investigative research, combining technical skills with multilingual capabilities to assess risks across global markets and diverse cultural contexts.

Where I put it into practice
My experience spans platform incident response, automated detection, and global intelligence analysis.
Incident Manager · Trust & Safety
Risk Containment & Global InvestigationLed high-risk enforcement escalations, combining investigation, incident response, and machine learning to automate risk detection and mitigation, strengthening platform safety at scale.
Led high-severity Trust & Safety investigations and incident response efforts, including escalations involving global crises. Analyzed large-scale datasets across videos, comments, images, and livestreams to identify emerging threats, uncover behavioral patterns, and coordinate enforcement across multiple policy areas and regions.
Partnered with Policy, Product, Engineering, and regional teams to investigate complex safety issues and coordinate enforcement strategies. Navigated policy ambiguity, assessed emerging risks, and translated investigative findings into actionable recommendations.
Developed supervised machine learning models to identify potentially harmful content at scale. Built end-to-end classification workflows, detection pipelines, and Python/SQL automation to accelerate investigations, improve detection capabilities, and support proactive enforcement.
Served as a regional lead for proactive enforcement initiatives, developing technical workflows and training analysts across global teams. Equipped investigators with practical tools and analytical methods to improve detection, investigative efficiency, and operational consistency.
Intelligence Analyst II & Regional Analyst
Used open-source intelligence and regional research to produce risk assessments for clients worldwide.
Conducted intelligence investigations into geopolitical developments, emerging threats, and high-risk individuals. Leveraged OSINT, SOCMINT, and other intelligence sources to identify threat actors, assess vulnerabilities, and support executive protection and security operations.
Analyzed and cross-referenced information from multiple intelligence platforms, public records, and social media to uncover patterns, identify risk indicators, and validate investigative findings. Transformed complex datasets into actionable intelligence supporting threat assessments and due diligence.
Served as the primary intelligence analyst for Latin America, monitoring political developments, security threats, and regional instability. Delivered timely assessments and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders, leveraging multilingual research and regional expertise.
Produced intelligence reports, geopolitical risk assessments, and executive briefings for clients and senior leadership. Translated complex developments into clear, actionable insights to inform security decisions, anticipate emerging threats, and support operational planning.

What I build today
I build tools for four investigative tasks: classifying new content, finding recurring phrases, translating multilingual data and searching video collections.
Train your own classifier for a specific trend, then automatically classify new text in batches to prioritize review.
Surface recurring strings and phrases, inspect their context, and use the wording to expand an investigation.
Translate multilingual collections into a shared English-language workflow, with original text and identifiers retained.
Extract speech and on-screen text across video batches, then search for matches and return to their source moments.
